Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Ground Beef, Pork, or Turkey
- 1 cup Fresh Spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs or Almond Flour
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
- 1 large Egg
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil, for frying
- Fresh Parsley, finely chopped, for garnish
- Salt & Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Combine the ground meat, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix gently until just combined.
- Flatten a small handful of the meat mixture in your palm and place a mozzarella cube in the center. Fold the meat around the cheese, roll it tightly into a smooth meatball.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the stuffed meatballs and cook for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally until deep golden-brown and fully cooked.
- Allow the meatballs to rest for 1–2 minutes before serving to let the cheese become melty.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, then serve hot with grains or vegetables.
Notes
Make Ahead: Prepare the meatballs a day in advance and refrigerate. You can bake or air fry for a lighter option.
