Description

A delightful blend of tender steak, creamy queso, and fluffy rice, topped with colorful sautéed vegetables for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank or sirloin steak
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup creamy queso
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Season the steak with paprika, salt, and pepper. Add to the skillet, cooking for 4-6 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  4. Add the cooked rice and creamy queso to the same skillet, mixing over medium heat until heated through.
  5. Serve the cheesy rice in bowls, topped with sliced steak and garnished with fresh cilantro.

Notes

Customize with your favorite veggies or add jalapeños for extra spice. Great for meal prep and leftovers!
