Description
A delicious blend of crispy chicken, fresh greens, and creamy Caesar dressing, all nestled in a toasted hoagie roll.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 Chicken Cutlets (fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breasts)
- 4 cups Romaine Lettuce (washed and chopped)
- 1/2 cup Caesar Dressing
- 1 cup Croutons
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
- 4 Hoagie Rolls (soft with sturdy crust)
- 2 tablespoons Butter (unsalted, for toasting)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken Cutlets: Heat a skillet over medium-high. Dredge chicken in seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Fry until golden and crispy, or bake at 400°F for about 20 minutes.
- Make the Homemade Caesar Salad: In a bowl, toss chopped romaine with Caesar dressing until coated. Add croutons and toss again.
- Toast the Hoagie Rolls: Spread butter on the insides and toast on a skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Place a chicken cutlet on each hoagie roll, top with Caesar salad and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Serve and Enjoy: Close the sandwich, press down gently, and savor each bite.
Notes
Great for meal prep; chicken can be made ahead and refrigerated. Pair with sweet potato fries or mixed green salad.
