Description

A delicious blend of crispy chicken, fresh greens, and creamy Caesar dressing, all nestled in a toasted hoagie roll.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Chicken Cutlets (fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breasts)
  • 4 cups Romaine Lettuce (washed and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Caesar Dressing
  • 1 cup Croutons
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
  • 4 Hoagie Rolls (soft with sturdy crust)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (unsalted, for toasting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Cutlets: Heat a skillet over medium-high. Dredge chicken in seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Fry until golden and crispy, or bake at 400°F for about 20 minutes.
  2. Make the Homemade Caesar Salad: In a bowl, toss chopped romaine with Caesar dressing until coated. Add croutons and toss again.
  3. Toast the Hoagie Rolls: Spread butter on the insides and toast on a skillet until golden brown.
  4. Assemble the Sandwich: Place a chicken cutlet on each hoagie roll, top with Caesar salad and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Close the sandwich, press down gently, and savor each bite.

Notes

Great for meal prep; chicken can be made ahead and refrigerated. Pair with sweet potato fries or mixed green salad.
