Description

Delightful chocolate peanut butter cookies that are soft, chewy, and full of flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt in a medium mixing bowl until blended.
  3. Add the chocolate chips and fold into the dough.
  4. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet with space in between.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set and tops are slightly soft.
  6. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Cookies can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for longer storage.
