- 1 Yellow Onion, diced (optional)
- 1 Packet Taco Seasoning
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 2 Taco Shells
- 1 Cup Refried Beans
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- Salsa or diced tomatoes (optional)
- Sour cream (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brown the ground beef (or your chosen alternative) along with the diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
- Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water; let it simmer until the mixture thickens.
- Spread a layer of refried beans on one taco shell.
