Description
A luxurious pasta dish featuring creamy Boursin cheese and rich heavy cream, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces pasta (Fettuccine, penne, or your favorite shape)
- 1 package (5.2 ounces) Boursin cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot, adding a generous pinch of salt. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, saving a splash of the pasta water if you prefer a thinner sauce.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once shimmering, add minced garlic, allowing it to sauté for about a minute until fragrant, but be careful not to let it burn.
- Reduce the heat to low. Introduce Boursin cheese and heavy cream to your skillet, stirring gently until the cheese melts, creating a rich, smooth sauce.
- Season with salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste, adjusting the flavor to your liking.
- Add your cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing it gently until each strand is beautifully coated with that creamy, luscious sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with ingredients by swapping Boursin with goat cheese or cream cheese for a different twist.
