Description

A comforting casserole combining creamy chicken, hearty mushrooms, and tender potatoes, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the onions and mushrooms in olive oil for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Combine the cooked chicken, diced potatoes, sautéed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Add the mixture to a greased casserole dish and smooth the top.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
