  • 6 white fish fillets (cod, halibut, or tilapia)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 cup cooking cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and place them in a greased baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the cooking cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Pour the cream sauce evenly over the fish fillets, ensuring all are coated.
  5. Bake for 18-22 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has a golden crust.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and chives before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Sauce can be prepared in advance and stored in the fridge. For an air fryer, set to 375°F and cook for 10-12 minutes.
