Description

A luxurious dish featuring jumbo pasta shells stuffed with a creamy garlic shrimp filling, topped with a golden, blistered crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Jumbo pasta shells
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  5. Add the grated parmesan cheese, black pepper, and paprika, mixing until smooth.
  6. Combine ricotta cheese with the cooked shrimp in a bowl and season with salt.
  7. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the shrimp and ricotta mixture.
  8. Place the stuffed shells in a baking dish, pour the garlic cream sauce over them, ensuring they are covered.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For make-ahead tips, assemble the dish up to the baking step and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Add extra baking time if refrigerated.
