A luxurious yet easy-to-make dish featuring salmon fillets in a rich, creamy lemon garlic sauce.

- 6 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup cooking cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Prep the salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then rub with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Sear the salmon: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the salmon, skin-side down. Cook for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer to oven: Flip the fillets and cook an additional 3 minutes, then place them in a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant. Stir in cream.
- Add flavor: Mix in Parmesan, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Combine & bake: Pour sauce around the salmon in the baking dish and top with lemon slices. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes.
- Finish and serve: Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with rice or vegetables.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate salmon with seasonings a few hours in advance. This dish can also be prepared in an air fryer.
