Description

Savor the rich flavors of perfectly seared ribeye steaks topped with a creamy peppercorn sauce, served with crispy French fries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Ribeye Steak Cutlets
  • Salt and Pepper, to Taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tablespoons Whole Peppercorns
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • Fresh Chopped Herbs (Parsley or Chives)
  • French Fries (for Serving)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Lay the steaks in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board.
  5. Add the heavy cream, whole peppercorns, and Dijon mustard to the same skillet, stirring gently to thicken the sauce.
  6. Slice the rested steaks against the grain and arrange on a platter.
  7. Drizzle the creamy peppercorn sauce over the sliced steaks and serve with crispy French fries.
  8. Garnish with fresh chopped herbs before serving.

Notes

For make-ahead tips, prepare the peppercorn sauce in advance and reheat gently. Customize the sauce by adding mushrooms or onions.
