Description

A delightful dish featuring jumbo pasta shells stuffed with a rich mixture of seafood and cheeses, topped with marinara sauce for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 20 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. Mix together ricotta cheese, chopped shrimp, shredded crab, mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Stuff each shell with the seafood mixture, pressing gently to secure the filling inside.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish, ensuring they sit snugly next to one another.
  7. Pour the remaining marinara sauce and heavy cream over the top.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
