- 1 large round bread loaf
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the inside.
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Toss in the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Combine cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, lemon juice, parsley, and the shrimp in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the creamy mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowl.
- Place the stuffed bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve fresh out of the oven with reserved bread pieces for dipping.
