Description
A tantalizing dish featuring crispy chicken breasts topped with a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for family gatherings or dinner parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to even thickness)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko works best for extra crunch)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- Oil for shallow frying
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and black pepper. Dredge each breast in flour, dip into the beaten egg, and press firmly into the breadcrumbs to coat completely.
- Fry the Chicken: Heat about 1/4 inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and fry for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Whisk in the chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
- Finish the Sauce: Stir in the grated parmesan cheese, whisking until smooth and thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Assemble and Serve: Arrange the crispy chicken on a plate, drizzle with the creamy garlic sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Make ahead by preparing the chicken and breadcrumb mixture in advance. Can use air fryer or oven for alternative cooking methods.
