Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Form the patties by seasoning the ground beef with salt and pepper, shaping it into burger-sized patties.
  2. Sear the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Transfer the browned patties into the crockpot.
  4. Layer the sliced bell peppers and onions around and on top of the meat.
  5. Add the beef broth over the patties and vegetables.
  6. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with the cooked vegetables and gravy.
