- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Form the patties by seasoning the ground beef with salt and pepper, shaping it into burger-sized patties.
- Sear the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the browned patties into the crockpot.
- Layer the sliced bell peppers and onions around and on top of the meat.
- Add the beef broth over the patties and vegetables.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve warm, garnished with the cooked vegetables and gravy.
