Description

A unique and comforting bread featuring a delightful blend of sweetness and tanginess from dill pickles.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and dried dill weed in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk melted butter, dill pickle juice, and egg in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped dill pickles evenly throughout the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
