- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- Swiss cheese (for topping)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, French onion soup mix, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it gently in the crockpot.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 360-480 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
- Place slices of Swiss cheese atop the meatloaf about 15 minutes before serving, then cover and let it melt.
- Slice and serve with your favorite accompaniments.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix the meatloaf mixture. Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking temperature. Let it rest before slicing to retain juices.
