- 1 lb ground meat (lamb, beef, turkey, or chicken)
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 8 oz kritharaki pasta
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground meat and brown thoroughly, breaking it up with a spatula.
- Pour in the tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Cook the kritharaki pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the meat sauce, stirring to coat.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and crumble feta cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare the meat sauce a day in advance. You can also customize by adding vegetables or using air fryer for a crispy finish.
