Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground meat (lamb, beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 8 oz kritharaki pasta
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

  3. Add the ground meat and brown thoroughly, breaking it up with a spatula.
  4. Pour in the tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Cook the kritharaki pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the meat sauce, stirring to coat.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and crumble feta cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the meat sauce a day in advance. You can also customize by adding vegetables or using air fryer for a crispy finish.
