- 4 slices of Whole-Grain Bread
- Fresh Lettuce
- 2 Ripe Tomatoes, sliced

- Pickles

- Salt and Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Juice of 1 Lemon

Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and your choice of herbs. Add the chicken breasts and ensure they’re thoroughly coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill over medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken: Remove it from the marinade, and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Toast the bread: Place your chosen bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble your sandwich: Start with a slice of grilled bread, layer with lettuce, grilled chicken, toppings, and sauce; close with the top slice.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Consider marinating the chicken a day in advance for maximum flavor. Feel free to substitute chicken thighs for breasts for added richness.
