- 36 Oreo cookies – Ground to make a crumbly crust
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter – Melted
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter – Softened
- 8 oz. cream cheese – Softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 (0.73 oz) envelopes of instant hot cocoa mix
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 (3.8 oz) chocolate instant pudding mix
- 2 3/4 cups milk
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream – For the whipped topping
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar – For the whipped topping
- 2 cups mini marshmallows – For topping
- Chocolate topping or Nutella – For drizzling before serving
Instructions
- Create the crust: Blend the Oreo cookies until fine crumbs. Combine with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish and chill.
- Make the mousse layer: Beat softened butter and cream cheese until smooth, then mix in vanilla and powdered sugar. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream and hot cocoa mix until stiff peaks form and fold into the cream cheese mixture. Spread over the chilled crust and return to chill.
- Prepare the pudding layer: Whisk chocolate pudding mix with milk until thickened, then fold in mini marshmallows. Spread over the mousse layer and let set for at least 30 minutes.
- Whipped cream topping: Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form; spread over the pudding layer. Chill until ready to serve.
- Finish with toppings: Before serving, sprinkle with mini marshmallows and drizzle with chocolate or Nutella.
