Description

A delightful fusion of crispy chicken coated in a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze that offers a comforting yet exciting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Dredge the chicken thighs in the flour mixture, shaking off excess flour.
  3. Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  4. Carefully place the coated chicken thighs into the hot oil and fry for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar over low heat and simmer.
  6. Transfer the fried chicken to a plate lined with paper towels.
  7. Toss the chicken in the warm hot honey glaze until coated, then serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or cornbread for a complete meal. For a healthier twist, consider air frying the chicken.
