Description

Flaky crescent rolls envelop spicy jalapeño and creamy cheese-filled sausage for a delightful snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of cocktail sausages
  • 1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 46 jalapeños, sliced and seeded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • Cooking spray or oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Blend together softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  3. Slice the jalapeños in half and remove the seeds.
  4. Fill each jalapeño slice with the creamy cheese mixture.
  5. Take a crescent roll triangle and place one filled jalapeño slice and one cocktail sausage on the wide end.
  6. Roll up tightly, enclosing the filling and sausage in the dough.
  7. Arrange the rolled poppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
