Description

A rich and flavorful ribeye steak topped with a luxuriously creamy garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick)
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the steaks to the skillet, cooking them for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. Once the steaks are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Dijon mustard, mixing until well combined.
  7. Let the sauce cook for a few minutes until it thickens slightly, around 5 minutes.
  8. Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve it topped with the creamy garlic sauce, finishing with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Notes

You can prepare the creamy garlic sauce ahead of time. Just reheat gently before serving.
