Description
A rich and flavorful ribeye steak topped with a luxuriously creamy garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick)
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the steaks to the skillet, cooking them for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach your desired doneness.
- Once the steaks are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Dijon mustard, mixing until well combined.
- Let the sauce cook for a few minutes until it thickens slightly, around 5 minutes.
- Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve it topped with the creamy garlic sauce, finishing with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
Notes
You can prepare the creamy garlic sauce ahead of time. Just reheat gently before serving.
