Description
A comforting fusion of cheeseburgers and creamy pasta, featuring crispy bacon, tender beef, and a rich Alfredo sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain the pasta, then set it aside.
- In the same pot, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until it’s crisp and golden brown. Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel to absorb excess grease, leaving the drippings behind in the pot.
- Add the ground beef to the drippings and cook over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat for a clean finish.
- Stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream while carefully scraping the bottom of the pot to release any delicious browned bits. Bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, mixing continually until they melt and create a wonderfully smooth sauce.
- Carefully fold in the cooked fettuccine and crispy bacon, stirring gently to coat the pasta fully.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting it to your preference.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Consider using turkey bacon for a lighter option or replacing heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
