A delightful Thai dessert featuring sticky rice served with luscious mango slices and rich coconut sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 cup sticky rice
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 ripe mangoes, sliced
- Sesame seeds or mung beans for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Soak the sticky rice in water for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight.
- Steam the rice over boiling water for about 30 minutes until tender.
- Prepare the coconut sauce by heating coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan.
- Mix the warm rice with half of the coconut sauce.
- Plate the sticky rice and top it with sliced mango and drizzle with remaining sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds or mung beans, if desired.
Notes
Make the coconut sauce ahead of time and store in the refrigerator. For a twist, add lime zest or vanilla to the sauce.
