Description

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease your donut pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder until evenly blended.
  3. Combine the buttermilk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl, whisking until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and gently mix until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the donuts in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
  8. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for the glaze until smooth.
  9. Dip each donut into the glaze and sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
