- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) chili beans
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup diced green onions
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the ground beef, stirring until it turns brown and is cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chili beans and the can of diced tomatoes with their juices to the skillet. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning, stirring everything together. Simmer for about five minutes.
- Introduce the softened cream cheese and sour cream into the skillet. Stir continuously until melted and fully incorporated.
- Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese, along with half of the diced green onions.
- Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle the remaining green onions on top.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
