Description

A rich, meaty dip combining creamy cheese, seasoned beef, and zesty tomatoes, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) chili beans
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the ground beef, stirring until it turns brown and is cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the chili beans and the can of diced tomatoes with their juices to the skillet. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning, stirring everything together. Simmer for about five minutes.
  3. Introduce the softened cream cheese and sour cream into the skillet. Stir continuously until melted and fully incorporated.
  4. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese, along with half of the diced green onions.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle the remaining green onions on top.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

Consider making this dip in advance for quick serving. It can also be customized with additional ingredients like jalapeƱos or corn.
