Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 pounds chicken (breasts or thighs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the garlic powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture on the chicken pieces.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  6. Add the chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
