Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix together the garlic powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture on the chicken pieces.
- Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Add the chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spices and lemon juice for up to six hours before cooking.
