Ingredients

  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pistachio paste (or finely ground pistachios)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • 2024 ladyfinger biscuits (or tea biscuits)
  • 1 cup brewed coffee (cooled)
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • Extra pistachios (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Start by whipping the heavy cream in a mixing bowl until it forms soft peaks.
  2. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Separate half of this cream mixture into another bowl, and stir in the pistachio paste.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the cooled coffee for about 1–2 seconds.
  5. Layer your dessert in the baking dish: Start with a bed of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, followed by the plain cream mixture, then a layer of the pistachio cream.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios between layers for crunch and texture.
  7. Repeat until you’ve used all your ingredients, finishing with a luxurious layer of cream on top.
  8. Smooth the surface gently for a polished look, then dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle with extra pistachios.
  9. Cover your masterpiece and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours.

Notes

Make the tiramisu the night before to allow flavors to deepen. For a different twist, try incorporating rose water or orange zest.
