A delightful blend of pizza and pasta, this Pizza Pasta Bake is a comforting dish perfect for family dinners or a solo indulgence.

- 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup red onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 oz pasta (such as penne or rotini)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Italian seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add the Italian sausage, green bell pepper, red onion, and garlic to the same skillet. Cook until the sausage is browned and the vegetables are tender.
- Combine the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, crispy bacon, sausage and vegetable mixture, and half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then serve.
