Description

Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette or Italian bread
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 8 ounces Fresh burrata cheese
  • 4 ounces Prosciutto
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for toasting.
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices, aiming for uniformity for even toasting.
  3. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil to promote a perfect, crispy crust, then arrange them on a baking sheet.
  4. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, watching closely until golden brown and fragrant.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the slices to cool slightly.
  6. Top each slice generously with a piece of burrata cheese, allowing it to slightly spill over the edges.
  7. Layer a few slices of prosciutto over the cheese, letting it drape artfully.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  9. Drizzle balsamic glaze atop each bruschetta and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
