Description

Delicious cookies combining sweet chocolate and tart raspberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl and gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the fresh raspberries and chocolate chunks gently.
  6. Drop the dough by large spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Use room temperature butter for best results. Fresh raspberries yield the best flavor.
