Description

A comforting dish with savory beef patties, earthy mushrooms, and sweet carrots, slow cooked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Patties
  • 8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large Onion, caramelized
  • 2 Carrots, diced
  • 2 Potatoes, cubed
  • 2 cups Rich Brown Gravy

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beef patties by shaping ground beef into patties, about 1/2 inch thick and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Brown the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side.
  3. Layer the browned patties at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms, caramelized onions, diced carrots, and cubed potatoes on top of the meat.
  5. Pour the rich brown gravy over the patties and vegetables.
  6. Slow cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the meat is tender.
  7. Serve warm over creamy mashed potatoes or rice.

Notes

Make the patties and caramelize onions ahead for ease. Customize with favorite veggies.
