Description

A delicious burger featuring savory ground beef and rich smoked cheddar, perfect for grilling and customizable with a variety of fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20)
  • 4 slices Smoked Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 Burger Buns (brioche or pretzel)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Lettuce
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • Pickles, to taste
  • Ketchup, to taste
  • Mustard, to taste
  • Mayonnaise, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the ground beef liberally with salt and pepper and shape into patties.
  3. Grill the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side, aiming for an internal temperature of 160°F.
  4. Place a slice of smoked cheddar on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  5. Remove the burgers and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. Assemble the burgers with the patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
  7. Slather your condiments on the top half of the bun.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Patty mixtures can be shaped a day in advance. Ensure to keep the ground beef at room temperature before cooking for even results.
