- 4 slices Smoked Cheddar Cheese
- 4 Burger Buns (brioche or pretzel)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 cup Lettuce
- 1 Tomato, sliced
- 1 Onion, sliced
- Pickles, to taste
- Ketchup, to taste
- Mustard, to taste
- Mayonnaise, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the ground beef liberally with salt and pepper and shape into patties.
- Grill the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side, aiming for an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Place a slice of smoked cheddar on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
- Remove the burgers and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Assemble the burgers with the patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
- Slather your condiments on the top half of the bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Patty mixtures can be shaped a day in advance. Ensure to keep the ground beef at room temperature before cooking for even results.
