Description

Delicious smoked shotgun shells filled with ground beef, Italian sausage, and cream cheese, all wrapped in crispy bacon for a flavorful appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lb hot Italian sausage
  • 28 manicotti shells
  • 1 lb cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 250°F.
  2. Mix together ground beef, hot Italian sausage, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stuff each manicotti shell with the meat mixture.
  4. Wrap each stuffed shell with a piece of bacon, securing it with toothpicks if necessary.
  5. Place the bacon-wrapped shells in the smoker and cook for about 120 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious smoked shotgun shells.
