Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl using a mixer until smooth and fluffy (about 3–5 minutes).
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the marshmallows and chocolate chips (if using).
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto lined baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Use room-temperature butter for easier mixing; refrigerate dough for up to 2 days for make-ahead convenience.
