Description

Crispy chicken wings glazed in a sticky honey and garlic sauce, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 500g chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven: Set it to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Mix your marinade: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the wings: Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until each piece is coated.
  4. Sear the wings: Heat oil and butter in a non-stick pan, then sear the wings until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Prepare for baking: Transfer the wings to a baking tray and pour any remaining marinade over them.
  6. Bake to perfection: Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Serve hot: Let them rest for a couple of minutes, then enjoy!

Notes

For best results, marinate wings a few hours in advance or overnight. Avoid overcrowding the baking tray for crispy wings.
