Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Mix together the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
- Scatter the sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the remaining cake batter over the strawberries.
- Swirl the batter gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool completely before serving and top with sliced almonds if desired.
