Description

A hearty and comforting casserole featuring crispy Tater Tots, savory ground beef, and creamy green beans, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Green Beans (15 oz), drained
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup (10.5 oz)
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded, divided
  • 1 bag Frozen Tater Tots (32 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully browned, then drain off excess grease.
  3. Combine the browned beef, drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and arrange a layer of frozen Tater Tots on the bottom.
  5. Spread half of the beef mixture over the Tater Tots, followed by half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Add a second layer of Tater Tots, then top with the remaining beef mixture and the rest of the cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes, or until Tater Tots are crisp and the casserole is hot and bubbly.
  8. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can make this casserole ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking. Feel free to customize the recipe by adding sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers.
