Description

Indulge in a perfectly cooked ribeye steak topped with a rich garlic herb butter for a flavorful dining experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye steak with bone (about 24 ounces), at room temperature
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over high heat.
  2. Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Add olive oil to the grill or skillet.
  4. Place the steak on the hot surface and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  5. Add the butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  6. Spoon the melted herb butter over the steak while it cooks.
  7. Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Allow the ribeye to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking for even cooking.
