- 1 (200g) Halloumi Cheese
- 4 Corn Tortillas
- 2 tablespoons Hot Honey
- 1 Avocado, sliced
- 1 cup Red Cabbage, shredded
- Fresh Cilantro, for garnish
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Slice the halloumi cheese into thick pieces, about half an inch thick for the best texture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, gently place the halloumi slices in the skillet. Fry until they are golden brown on both sides, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
- Warm the corn tortillas in another pan or the microwave until soft and pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a crispy piece of fried halloumi on each warmed tortilla.
- Drizzle hot honey generously over the halloumi.
- Top with sliced avocado, shredded red cabbage, and fresh cilantro.
- Squeeze lime juice over the tacos and season with salt and pepper to your taste. Serve immediately.

For extra flavor, consider adding black beans or pickled onions as toppings.
